Cate has been working as a web designer for 18 years implementing advanced website design techniques including CSS, HTML 5, Flash and SEO. She has created over 200 small to large size websites. She has worked directly with ColdFusion and PHP programmers to create and update large, successful e-commerce websites. She has successfully converted her graphic and advertising skills to the web.
Cate has an education background in fine art, pursuing a B.F.A. in Studio Art in college at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She earned a GPA of “A” or 4.0, in all her art courses at UNC-Greensboro.

She has won numerous art awards in art show competitions for her art which reflects her realistic style. She has also worked as a portrait artist. In high school, she won numerous Gold Key awards in the Scholastic Art Awards, as well as the highest award, a Hallmark Honor Nomination, from Hallmark Cards.
